I have been given the task to bring you something special each month. I will endeavor to find you some great vacations at great prices! Most of the stays I will recommend will be available using your nights with RCI.I will often try and find you a location that I love, but one that stretches your vacation nights and/or your vacation dollars! So you know a little something about me: I am a spoiled traveler and have seen many wonderful spots around the globe. I love great locales and terrific resorts. Also, I have six children so I obviously know a lot about traveling with kids too! So let’s get going..
March’s Spotlight Property
Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nyarit
The resort is located in Nuevo Vallarta. It is a group of residences with individual owners. They are centrally managed on site. You will be treated like an owner but stay like a hotel guest in a five star resort. The property is located on a safe strip in a new area of the beach properties. When you arrive you will immediately be greeted by numerous welcoming staff and open air check in areas. Pools, restaurants, and amazing service abound.
Your condominium will make you immediately feel like a local. Full kitchen, and in-room amenities will make you feel like you have found your forever getaway spot. The pools surround the property. Swim up restaurants and attentive servers are everywhere.
The beach is on-site but it’s a little walk down the private path (we always had the staff golf cart us back and forth to the private beach). There is a restaurant and bar on site at the beach as well as servers on the beach. This is not a crazy Mexico resort with water slides. It is about relaxing, enjoying time together, and building great memories.
If you want a little more vacation vibe, the Marival’s sister resort is right down the beach. A free shuttle will take you on the four minute golf cart ride to the other resort. It is a wild and crazy resort with all the noise and clatter of a typical Holiday Inn. They have free shows at night, pool trivia, and a little kids water fun park. It’s fun and action packed, but soon we all longed to get back to our home away from home back at the Marival Residences (even the kids).
Summer’s are a great time to go with lots of availability, but please note the Summer months can be very hot! The resort accommodates both an All Inclusive plan or a European plan (pay as you go for meals). The resort all inclusive fees have been increased post-covid so I do not think they are necessary to buy at $160 p/adult per day and $80 day p/child per day. Unless you are a big drinker (which I am not), go the European plan way, it’s incredibly hard to spend $160 per day unless you are just really trying to.
